Maskinmarkedet was founded with a clear purpose: to bring efficiency and transparency to the construction equipment rental market. The industry has long been characterized by manual processes, scattered availability, and limited price transparency, making it difficult for contractors to find the right machines when they need them. We saw an opportunity to simplify and modernize the way equipment is rented, making it easier for both rental companies and those in need of machinery to connect. Our journey began with firsthand experience of these challenges. We recognized that many rental providers relied on phone calls, spreadsheets, and paperwork, leading to inefficiencies and lost opportunities. At the same time, contractors struggled to compare prices and availability across multiple providers, often spending valuable time just securing the equipment they needed to get the job done. We knew there had to be a better way. With this in mind, we built Maskinmarkedet—a digital platform designed to streamline the entire rental process. By providing a centralized space where equipment providers can manage their inventory and customers can easily find and book the right machines, we are helping to create a more connected and efficient market. Our goal is to ensure that no machine sits idle when it could be in use, and that contractors can access the equipment they need quickly and hassle-free.
